Docks Out Saturday 11/10/12 at 10:00 a.m.~

Greetings:

Sincere thanks go to Kristin and all the students of the Putney School rowing team who helped this afternoon remove all boats from the boathouse and take down the roofs of both boathouses. Boats were de-rigged and loaded on the trailer, then moved to Graeme's shop. Roofs were removed, folded and transported to Potash. This flurry of activity was deemed necessary with prospects of several inches of snow mixed with rain due to be falling tonight and tomorrow. The smaller items left in the boathouse will be removed on Friday.

One wonders if PRC should now stand for Putney Rigging Club.

That leaves the mere task of removing docks on Saturday. Because so much was done today we feel confident in moving our the start of PRC member's work on Saturday to 10:00 AM with Putney School students arriving around noon to help with the heavy lifts of docks onto and off of the trailer.

The docks require a great deal of people power so please make the effort to come and lend your hand on Saturday.

Thanks for all your help!

Jim
