Docks-Are-In!

Yes the docks are in . . . however the Connecticut River is moving very fast, and is at 26.8 kcfs. Save rowing is really below 20 kcfs. Please row in doubles and quads, which are rigged until the river settles down. Please use the 4-oar rule until the water is warmer and the river is calmer.

Thanks to those last hard workers who left the boathouse at 2:30 p.m. after all was finished. And to our chainsaw master Carolyn. This would not have happened without each and everyone of you. And thanks to the Social Committee to arrange refreshments.

There is more work to be done, boats to be rigged, roofs to be tied down every 8-10 feet to secure them with rope, edging the bottom of the boathouses with plywood so that when it rains the dirt is not thrown up onto the boats inside, raking out George H's shed where boats are stored, and organizing the remaining boat equipment. Please help out when you are down at the boathouse.

Happy Safe Rowing!
